OBS! Vær oppmerksom på at flybillett tur/retur Johannesburg kommer i tillegg.
Markus reiste ned 2 uker i februar og sendte oss denne fantastiske tilbakemeldingen:
"The two weeks I had visiting your farm was just amazing. I had never expected it to be like this at all. We were working all the time, but still it felt like a holiday. All the time it was fun and laughter. Of all the tasks we were given we almost always had fun no matter how complicated the task was. But, my stay would not have been the same if it had not been for Twanet and Malans presence. Two more lovable persons are hard to come by. I know they're young, but still they proved to act as adults when situations came up and they did great and were very responible. They are the best projectleaders ever. And the fact they used almost all of their spare time on the volunteers (every night) without getting paid says it all, they made my stay perfect.
It is not going to be the animals I will remember the best, but my new friends Malan and Twanet <3
I was suprised that we had to clean chickens and animals, that was just crazy. But by time I learned to deal with it. It felt like going back 200 yrs in time compared to Norway, but hey, now I can at least brag about it :) bet nobody I know home in Norway have ever done it.
The accomodation was great, don't know how the new volunteer house will be, but hope it will turn out great.
And the animals. What can I say, to be so close to all these exotic animals is just crazy. Had a great time cuddling with them all. Every animal had its own characteristic :) too bad the cheetah cubs had to leave, but Zoltan made up for it. Still have the scratchmarks from him the last time I gave him bottle...and I tought Felipes claws hurt. haha. I have experienced so much these two weeks I don't even know were too start, Timon digging for gold, the cheetah who bit my cheek, Felipe who slapped me. Or the hugs from Zita :) Really I can't understand why not more people are coming to your farm, it was so great.
The amount of work we had each day was ok, and by mixing it up with socialising with the animals it really was a perfect blend. Im really looking forward to see all you people again. I didnt want to go back to Norway at all, I was so sad when I had to leave.
I brough love, effort and energy to Zanchieta, what I got back was MAGIC!"
